Founded in 1952, Dominican College is committed to developing the whole student through interaction among students and faculty in small, personal classes.  Even though the school is only 17 miles from bustling New York City, Dominican College feels like a home away from home, yet students are challenged on all academic levels.  Students can choose from degrees in Liberal Arts, such as Biology or Psychology, or study in professional programs such as Nursing, Physical Therapy or Teacher Education. 

To round out campus life, Dominican College offers a wide range of activities such as social clubs, honor societies, service organizations, student government and more.  Intercollegiate and intramural athletics are also offered.  Dominican College is a member of the Central Atlantic College Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.  Varsity teams for both men and women include basketball, cross-country, golf, and soccer, just to name a few.  In the last 5 years, the varsity teams have won 12 conference championships.  Scholarships are offered to qualified student athletes.
